About Us
Lincoln Central Mosque and Cultural Centre is a welcoming place of worship, learning and community for Muslims living in the beautiful city of Lincoln and its surrounding areas. Established in 1981 with the vision of fostering faith, unity and understanding our Mosque serves as a spiritual home to around 40 nationalities.
Our vision is to embody the values of Islam and be a welcoming spiritual home that nurtures faith, provides Islamic education and serves the wider community with compassion, integrity and unity. We welcome everyone to come and visit us, learn and be part of our growing and diverse community.
Our mosque provides daily prayers, educational programmes and a growing programme of social activities for families and youth. As a cultural centre, we aim to promote understanding of Islam through open days, school visits and interfaith activities.
We are currently restoring our original mosque located on Orchard Street which began in November 2025.
